Why mix JPG and PNG here?
This queue accepts both formats under one lossy WebP quality setting. For a PNG-only batch that needs true lossless WebP, use PNG to WebP instead.
One shared quality setting
One 10–100 quality setting applies to every successful JPG and PNG output. All outputs use lossy libwebp, including PNG. Changing quality clears old results and requeues completed files. Quality 100 is still lossy.
Batch conversion questions
How many images can I process?
Up to 20 files per batch. Each file still follows the 25 MiB and 40 megapixel single-image safety limits.
Can I mix JPG and PNG?
Yes. JPG, JPEG, and static PNG files can share one batch and one WebP quality setting.
Is quality 100 lossless?
No. All outputs here use lossy WebP, including at quality 100.

Can mixed JPG and PNG use lossless WebP?
No. This mixed queue uses one lossy WebP setting for every file. Use PNG to WebP for true lossless PNG output.
Does PNG transparency stay transparent?
The shared PNG to WebP path keeps decoded Alpha when the browser supports WebP transparency. RGB may change with lossy quality encoding.
What happens if one file fails?
Only that row becomes an error. Other files continue, and successful outputs remain available.
Can I download everything at once?
Yes. The ZIP contains successful WebP outputs only. If completed outputs exceed 64 MiB, download each file individually.
Are my images uploaded?
No. The batch is validated and converted locally in your browser.
Can I convert APNG?
No. Animated PNG is rejected instead of silently exporting one frame.
Why can a WebP output be larger?
Output bytes depend on image detail, dimensions, Alpha, and quality. The interface reports the actual size rather than promising savings.
