PicRecast is operated by an independent developer based in China.
Information we collect
Conversion, resizing, and the Crop, Fit, Solid, and Blur modes process image bytes inside your browser and do not upload them. Previews and downloads use temporary Blob/Object URLs that are revoked during replacement, Reset, or cleanup. AI Recast first validates, orients, resizes, and removes metadata locally; only an explicitly enabled AI job would send prepared pixels and scene guidance to a provider. Production AI upload, account, payment, and history features are currently disabled.
How we use your data
Data is used only to provide, secure, diagnose, and improve the service, respond to requests, and meet legal duties. Retention will be limited to the period needed for those purposes and documented before public launch.
Third-party services
The HEIC decoder loads as a local application resource and the SVG sanitizer rejects external resources. PicRecast has an internal-preview Replicate adapter for AI Recast, but production access is fail-closed and no paid live call was used to validate this implementation. If AI access is later opened, prepared image pixels and guidance will be sent to Replicate and this policy, retention terms, legal review, and user controls must be updated first. Supabase and Creem are also not production-configured.
Cookies
Local image tools do not require tracking cookies. If sign-in is enabled, strictly necessary session storage or cookies may be used. Any analytics or additional cookie use must be disclosed before activation.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data associated with you. Additional rights depend on your jurisdiction and will be honored where applicable after identity verification.
Changes to this policy
This policy took effect on the date of the first official Production Noindex launch. Material updates will be posted here with an effective date and, where appropriate, communicated through the service before they take effect.
